From Stanley Park to Fogo Island, SESQUI is a virtual reality storytelling project that uses 360˚video technology to capture and explore the people and landscapes of Canada. Historica Canada has teamed up with SESQUI Inc. to deliver the 360° film Horizon, by offering schools across the country reusable virtual reality viewers.
We have produced a limited number of VR viewers that can be used with cell phones to experience the educational film and virtual reality app. The viewers are being sent directly to students in grades 7 (Secondary 1 to Secondary 5 in QC) and up at schools across the country. Education guides will be available to accompany the film, so educators can help students connect the VR experience with curriculum topics.
The SESQUI Film Project is generously funded by the Government of Canada and is a Canada 150 Signature Initiative.
